“I am going to die happy in Hayward, since happiness is Hayward living, as a resident, and it is a matter of collaborating, partnering, associating and working together. As an educator working with education foundations and educators is natural, and as a businessman collaborating with the chamber of commerce is important for a Strong Local Economy. I also like to work with youngsters, because we don’t do enough for the youth – and am an advisor to the Hayward Youth Commission listening to their needs, and what needs to be done.” Thank you. Hayward On!
family, youth, education, community and culture, while promoting leadership, civic pride, and community involvement. We honor Mexicans and Mexican Americans, past and present, who made, and continue to make, significant contributions to Hayward. We celebrate noteworthy events such as El Cinco de Mayo, El Diez y Seis de Septiembre, and Hispanic Heritage Month. We support our youth by awarding scholarships, sponsoring Ballet Folclórico and Mariachi programs.
We didn’t make Mayorhood, but at least now many folks know, and appreciate my Vision for Hayward.
I AM still a City Councilman, and will continue to work towards making our Great City even Greater!
If you have any ideas, please share them, as we are not finished with this task.
Again, the Zermeño Family, of our Fine City, THANKS you!
